Biography
Born on March 24, 1998, and raised on the Sorrento Peninsula, Marcella Jo Pirillo began approaching the arts of acting, singing and dance from an early age, which have led her to become a versatile actress capable of performing in Neapolitan dialect as well as Italian, whose path combines rigorous theatre training with a growing commitment to contemporary cinema.
A graduate of the Scuola del Teatro Musicale at Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan, she has continued to refine her craft and still trains today in both theatre and audiovisual work, aware that an actor's work is a continuous journey of discovery. Her training includes the workshop at Teatro Due in Rome with director Marco Lucchesi, and workshops with international coaches Ivana Chubbuck and David Warren.
A young and sensitive actress with an intense gaze, Marcella began working in audiovisual at 20 with the Prime series A.L.I.C.E., and has now reached cinemas with the film "Prendiamoci una pausa" by Cristian Marazziti. Her theatre experience includes "Elettra" and "Romeo and Juliet" directed by Francesco Bolo Rossini, "Cravattari" directed by Fortunato Calvino, and "Un Vizio di Famiglia" by Silvio Fornacetti produced by Teatro Palapartenope in Naples.
